Accessing Account Settings
For Electricians
- Log in to your account
- Click your profile photo or name in the top navigation
- Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown
- Or visit your Dashboard and click "Settings"
For Employers
- Log in to your employer account
- Click "Company Settings" in your dashboard
- Select the specific settings section you need
Personal Information
Basic Profile Data
Name and Contact:
- Display name (how it appears to employers)
- Email address (primary contact method)
- Phone number (for urgent opportunities)
- Secondary email (backup contact)
Location Settings:
- Home address (for location-based job matching)
- Preferred work radius (5, 10, 25, 50+ miles)
- Willing to relocate (yes/no and preferred regions)

Professional Details
Current Status:
- Employment status (actively looking, open to opportunities, not looking)
- Available start date (immediate, 2 weeks, 1 month, etc.)
- Work authorization (US citizen, permanent resident, work visa)
Licensing Information:
- Primary license state and number
- Additional state licenses
- License expiration dates (system will remind you 60 days prior)
- Reciprocity states you're qualified to work in
Privacy Controls
Profile Visibility
Public Settings:
- Visible to all employers - Maximum exposure, all verified contractors can see your profile
- Registered employers only - Only companies with verified accounts can view
- Invite only - Only employers you've applied to can see your full profile
Information Display:
- Show full name vs. initials only
- Display phone number vs. contact through platform only
- Show current employer vs. hide current company name
- Display exact location vs. general area only
Contact Preferences
How employers can reach you:
- Direct email - employers get your email address
- Platform messaging only - all communication through our system
- Phone calls allowed - employers can call directly
- Text messages - for urgent opportunities only
Response expectations:
- Immediate response (within hours)
- Same day response (within 24 hours)
- Next business day (standard professional timeframe)
- Weekly check-ins (for passive job seekers)
Blocked Companies
Company Restrictions:
- Block current employer from seeing your profile
- Block specific companies you don't want to work for
- Block recruiting agencies (work only with direct employers)
- Temporary blocks (remove after specific dates)
